Initial Reactions

Well, the 2008 election is over, and it went terribly for Republicans, however I guess there is a ray of sunshine. Here is a list of my initial thoughts:

1. The liberal mainstream media caused the wretched outcome of this election.

2. Obama is not black. We have not yet elected a black president in this country. He is of mixed racial heritage. My wife is Vietnamese, so my girls aren't white or Vietnamese-they're mixed.

3. Obama was elected because he promised a redistribution of wealth and more free government programs. Lazy, entitlement-oriented people voted for him.

4. People voted based on race, not facts.

5. Obama has a dirty past, questionable bedfellows, a severe lack of experience, and dangerous Marxist/socialist ideals.

6. No one knows what he is going to do as prez-stay far to the left, or become more centrist.

7. This election showed that the Republican party has been pandering to voter segments, and not sticking to their conservative guns. They're not playing hardball in Congress, but the Democraps are.

8. We need a candidate that is clearly a "Reagan" conservative.

9. In some ways, I'm glad McCain wasn't elected, because I think in office he would've further watered down the Republican platform.

10. I am sickened that someone of Obama's low qualifications could get into the White House.

11. I have hope/faith that God will lead us through this.

Finally, unlike Obama's pastor, its not God damn America, but GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!
